Nanoplasty & Keratin Treatment
Nanoplasty is a professional smoothing treatment designed to improve manageability, shine, and reduce frizz. Results vary depending on hair type, previous chemical history, porosity, and home maintenance.
Please acknowledge the following:
· Results are not guaranteed and vary per individual.
· Nanoplasty does not permanently straighten hair; some natural texture may remain.
· Longevity depends on aftercare, frequency of washing, and heat styling.
· Previously lightened, damaged, or compromised hair may experience altered results.
· Colour-treated hair may experience slight tonal change or warmth.
· Multiple sessions may be required for optimal results.
· Nano can last up to 8 months depending on hair structure – more weakened hair can last between 3-6months.
· Do not go over hair with heat if it hasn’t been washed
While every precaution is taken, the following may occur:
· Temporary dryness or stiffness
· Increased sensitivity of hair/scalp
· Breakage if hair integrity is already compromised
· Irritation or allergic reaction (rare)
To maintain results, client agrees to:
· Use sulphate-free, recommended aftercare products
· Avoid excessive heat or improper tools
· Follow all professional aftercare instructions provided
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may significantly reduce longevity and results.
BLEACH WAITING PERIOD
Recommended wait (industry standard): 3–4 weeks post-bleach, allowing the hair to stabilise, rebalance moisture/protein levels, and reduce risk of damage.
Heavily bleached, over-processed, or fragile hair: 4–6+ weeks, with restorative treatments in between.
COLOUR WAITING PERIOD
Colour BEFORE Nanoplasty
· Minimum wait: 7–10 days
· Recommended: 2 weeks
Colour AFTER Nanoplasty
-
Minimum wait: 10–14 days
-
Recommended: 2–3 weeks
TONER AND GLOSSES

Wait: 7–10 days either side of nanoplasty.
-
Expect tonal variation, particularly on blondes and porous hair.
Client confirms:
-
Disclosed all prior chemical services and hair history accurately.
-
Understands the nature of the nanoplasty service and associated risks.
-
Consent's to proceed with the nanoplasty treatment.
-
Release the salon and stylist from liability for undesired results related to undisclosed history, existing damage, or failure to follow aftercare.
Keratin treatments are professional smoothing services designed to reduce frizz, improve manageability, and enhance shine. Results vary depending on individual hair type, condition, chemical history, porosity, lifestyle, and aftercare.
Client acknowledges and understand that:
-
Keratin treatments do not permanently straighten the hair.
-
Results, longevity, and level of smoothness are not guaranteed.
-
Longevity typically ranges between 8–16 weeks and depends on aftercare, washing frequency, heat styling, and environmental exposure.
-
Colour-treated hair may experience fading or tonal change, particularly on blondes, reds, and previously lightened hair.
-
Hair that is heavily bleached, damaged, porous, or compromised may experience reduced results, dryness, or breakage.
-
Some keratin treatments may release fumes during heat activation, which may cause temporary eye, nose, or throat irritation.
Client confirms that:
-
They have disclosed all prior chemical services, treatments, and hair history accurately.
-
Understand that failure to disclose this information may negatively affect results and hair integrity.
-
Full responsibility for the condition of individual's hair and understand the risks involved.

Colour Services
Permanent, Semi permanent, Demi permanent, Toners, Glosses, and all bleach lightening
Colour Services Disclaimer
All colour services at SEC HAIR including permanent colour, semi-permanent, demi-permanent, toners, glosses, and all bleach/lightening services (including scalp bleach, foils, and high-lift work)—are performed with professional care and expertise. However, outcomes may vary depending on individual hair condition, history, and external factors.
By proceeding with any colour service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
-
You must disclose your full hair history, including all previous colour (professional or box dye), lightening services, keratin treatments, nanoplasty, relaxers, henna, or metallic salts. Undisclosed history can significantly affect results and hair integrity.
-
Results cannot be guaranteed, particularly when lightening hair, correcting previous colour, or transitioning between tones (e.g., dark to blonde, warm to cool).
-
Bleaching and lightening services carry inherent risks, including dryness, breakage, banding, uneven lift, or structural compromise, even when performed to the highest professional standard.
-
Toners, glosses, and demi/semi-permanent colours are not permanent and will fade over time. Longevity depends on hair porosity, condition, and at-home maintenance.
-
Multiple appointments may be required to safely achieve your desired result, especially for major colour transformations or corrections.
-
Hair integrity is the priority. We reserve the right to refuse, adjust, or stop a service if your hair is compromised or unable to safely proceed.
-
Final results may vary from inspiration photos due to differences in hair type, density, underlying pigment, and previous services.
-
Maintenance is essential. We are not responsible for colour fading, shifting, or changes due to environmental exposure, heat styling, or improper aftercare.
-
All services are non-refundable once completed. If you have concerns, you must notify us within a reasonable timeframe so we can assess and offer an adjustment where appropriate.
By booking and attending your appointment, you provide informed consent to proceed with the selected colour service under these terms.
Charcoal Smoothing Treatment Disclaimer
The Perfect Hair Charcoal Smoothing Treatment is a professional chemical service designed to reduce frizz, smooth the hair cuticle, and enhance shine and manageability. This treatment is designed to reduce frizz by approximately 60–80%, depending on hair type, condition, and natural texture. Results will vary for each individual. By proceeding with this treatment, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
-You must disclose your full hair history, including previous colour, bleaching, keratin, nanoplasty, chemical treatments, box dye, henna, or any use of metallic salts. Undisclosed history may affect results and hair integrity.
-This treatment is not a permanent straightening service and will not fully straighten all hair types, particularly coarse, curly, or resistant textures. Frizz reduction results are not guaranteed and may vary; environmental factors such as humidity can still affect the hair.
-Longevity of results varies and is influenced by hair condition, porosity, lifestyle, and aftercare.
-Results will gradually fade over time. Proper aftercare is essential, including the use of recommended sulphate-free and professional products. Failure to follow aftercare may reduce the longevity and effectiveness of the treatment.
-Colour-treated or lightened hair may experience slight tonal shifts or fading following the treatment.
-While the treatment is designed to improve hair condition, there are inherent risks with any chemical service, including dryness, sensitivity, or breakage, particularly on previously compromised hair.
-We reserve the right to refuse or modify the service if the hair is deemed unsuitable or at risk of damage.
-Patch testing may be recommended for clients with sensitive skin or previous reactions to hair treatments.
All services are non-refundable once completed. If concerns arise, you must notify us within a reasonable timeframe so we can assess and provide an appropriate solution where possible. By booking and attending your appointment, you provide informed consent to proceed with the treatment under these terms.
